Elizabeth Park - Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the park features a two and one-half acre rose garden with 800 varieties of roses. Calendar of workshops and events, gallery of photos from the park, map and driving directions. Straddles the Hartford/West Hartford border.

Farmington River Trail - 16 mile, multi-use trail located on former railroad bed, road shoulders and public land to serve walkers, runners, cyclists, in-line skaters and cross country skiers. Sponsored by the Towns of Burlington, Canton, Farmington and Simsbury.

Farmington Valley Greenway - 25-mile multi-use trail currently being developed through the towns of Avon, Simsbury, Farmington, East Granby and Canton/Collinsville.

Farmington Wild and Scenic River - Information on the 14-mile section of the river which is designated by the National Park Service and wild and scenic.
