Breaking the Cycle - Citywide campaign to reduce teen pregnancy. Sponsored by the City of Hartford, the Hartford Action Plan on Infant Health and Hartford Public Schools.

Center City Churches - Provides a soup kitchen, food pantry, fuel bank, emergency assistance, weekend meals for seniors, after-school tutoring program, family resource centers and supportive AIDS housing.

Collaborative Center for Justice - Sponsored by five religious congregations of women in Connecticut and whose mission is to enhance human dignity. Information on focus issues, events, Catholic social teaching themes, how to communicate with legislators and advocacy action alert.

Hartford Correctional Center - Photograph and information on the Level 4 security facility.

Hartford Food System - Implements programs and advances policies that promote a sustainable and equitable food system. News, history, newsletter, information on programs, list of upcoming events and how to get involved.

Hartford Studies Project - Collection and research resources on the city's history and present experience of issues such as race, immigration, culture, labor and local politics. Based at Trinity College.

The Lyceum - Educational resource and conference center that provides headquarters to The Melville Charitable Trust and the Partnership for Strong Communities, along with an auditorium and conference facilities.

The Open Hearth Association - Men's Shelter serves the homeless and troubled people of Hartford.

Society of the Descendants of the Founders of Hartford - Organization whose criteria for membership is that one must be descended from an ancestor who settled in Hartford before February 1640.
