    American Museum of the Moving Image - The largest repository of moving images in the country, housed in the old Astoria Studios built by Paramount in 1920.
    Bowne House Museum - Built in 1661, and unmodified since 1830. Dutch/English architecture with authentic furniture and a pewter collection.
    Isamu Noguchi Museum - Thirteen indoor galleries around an outdoor sculpture garden, located in Long Island City. Closed until June 2004 for renovations.
    Kingsland Homestead - This 1785 house has been moved twice in this century to make way for new construction. It is now the home of the Queens Historical Society, featuring regular tours and special exhibits.
    Louis Armstrong Online - The Louis Armstrong House and Archives, maintained by Queens College.
    New York Hall of Science - Exhibits, often interactive, on sound, light, atoms, microbes, AIDS, astronomy. Includes a science playground. Considered one of the top ten science museums in the country.
    PS1 Contemporary Art Center - Museum solely devoted to contemporary art. Online tour, directions, and information on current and past exhibitions.
    Queens County Farm Museum - A 47-acre farm which has been the site of continuous farming for over 200 years and now houses The Museum of the Agricultural History of New York City.
    Queens Historical Society - Involved in preservation and education. With offices in an historic house, where public tours are available.
    Queens Museum of Art - Initially constructed for the first NYC World's Fair the building later became the first home of the UN, and now houses the Queens Museum of Art, which specializes in modern and contemporary works.
